Final X-Men: Apocalypse Trailer – Can a mutant destroy the entire world?

25th April 2016 By Tim Isaac

x-men-apocalypse-slideIn just a few weeks the mutants are returning and facing the awesome power of Apocalypse – an ancient mutant who is so powerful he has been worshipped as a god, and who isn’t impressed with the modern world. The final trailer is here to suggest this is going to be pretty epic.

Here’s the synopsis: ‘Following the critically acclaimed global smash hit X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer returns with X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.’

It’ll be in cinemas on May 18th. [Read more…]

Neighbours 2 Red Band Trailer – Seth Rogen and Zac Efron get a little more rude

7th April 2016 By Tim Isaac

bad-neighbours-2-quadOver the past couple of years, if there’s been Red Band trailer for a Zac Efron movie, you could pretty much guarantee it would feature him in a state of semi-undress at some point. Now we have one for Neighbours 2 which does offer some slow-motion Zac shirtlessness and tiny orange shorts, but it appears that Seth Rogen also wanted to show off his pecs (or lack thereof), as he’s equally topless.

Here’s the synopsis: ‘Now that Mac (Set Rogen) and Kelly Radner (Rose Byrne) have a second baby on the way, they are ready to make the final move into adulthood: the suburbs.  But just as they thought they’d reclaimed the neighborhood and were safe to sell, they learn that the new occupants next door are a sorority even more out of control than Teddy (Zac Efron) and his brothers ever dreamed of being. Tired of their school’s sexist, restrictive system, the unorthodox ladies of Kappa Nu have decided to start a house where they can do whatever the hell they want.

‘When Shelby (Chloe Moretz) and her sisters, Beth (Kiersey Clemons) and Nora (Beanie Feldstein), find the perfect place just off campus, they won’t let the fact that it’s located on a quiet street stand in their way of parties as epic as the guys throw. Forced to turn to the one ex-neighbor with the skills to bring down the new Greeks next door, the Radners—alongside best friends Jimmy (Ike Barinholtz) and Paula (Carla Gallo)—bring in charismatic Teddy as their secret weapon.  If he can infiltrate the sorority and charm his way through it, the thirtysomethings will shutter the Kappas’ home.  But if they think that their neighbors are going down without a fight, they have severely underestimated the power of youthful ingenuity and straight-up crazy.’

It’ll be in cinemas in May. [Read more…]

New X-Men: Apocalypse Trailer – What happens when mutants start to believe they’re gods?

18th March 2016 By Tim Isaac

Xmen_Apocalypse_CampD_Defend-slideThe timeline may have been reset with X-Men: Days Of Future Past, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t still plenty of problems between man and mutant – or more particularly in Apocaplyse between mutant and mutant. Now a new trailer has dropped which suggests this is going to be one hell of a battle.

It’ll be in cinemas May 18th. Take a look at the new trailer below. [Read more…]

X-Men: Apocaplyse Extended Super Bowl Spot – Things are getting serious for the mutants

8th February 2016 By Tim Isaac

x-men-apocalypse-trailer-slideThings were pretty precarious for the mutants in Days Of Future Past, but it looks like resetting the timeline hasn’t made their lives any easier. An extended version of the movie’s Super Bowl spot certainly suggests things are getting intense, angry and destructive.

Take a look below.

Here’s the synopsis:’Following the critically acclaimed global smash hit X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer returns with X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Bryan Singer directs once more more, with James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Olivia Munn, Evan Peters, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, Lucas Till, Josh Helman, Lana Condor and Ben Hardy starring.

It’ll be in cinemas next May. [Read more…]

Bad Neighbours 2 Trailer – Seth Rogen & Zac Efron are back & dealing with the ladies

19th January 2016 By Tim Isaac

zac-efron-seth-rogen-neighbors-2-slideI’m pretty much convinced that if Zac Efron sees a script he likes, he tells his agent that he’ll make it, but only if they put in more opportunities to take his shirt off and show off his physique. But it seem that with Neighbours 2 (known as Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising in the us), Seth Rogen also wanted to ensure he could get his shirt off to, as you’ll see in the film’s first trailer.

Here’s the brief synopsis: ‘Returning stars Seth Rogen, Zac Efron and Rose Byrne are joined by Chloë Grace Moretz for BAD NEIGHBOURS 2, the follow-up to 2014’s most popular original comedy. Nicholas Stoller again directs in a film that follows what happens when the will of parenthood goes against the bonds of sisterhood.’

The movie will be in UK cinemas May 6th. You can take a look at the trailer below. [Read more…]
