It looks like there’s gonna be a bit of a change for the third Thor movie, with more of a Guardians Of The Galaxy feel, rather than the rather po-faced previous adventures. That includes the destruction of Asgard, as well as Thor’s infamous hammer, and the demigod getting a brand new hairdo.
It certainly looks like it could be a lot of fun, with a goth Cate Blanchett causing trouble, and Thor having to face Hulk in hand-to-hand combat.
Here’s the synopsis: ‘In Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Ragnarok,” Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok—the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization—at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger—the Incredible Hulk! “Thor: Ragnarok” thunders into UK Cinemas this October.’
