While most posters just seem to be there to remind you a film exists, a few make you really want to know more about what the film is all about. A picture of a weird looking bisected mutant baby called Dren certainly has that effect. Splice, which was a hit at Sundance and has since been picked up for major distribution by Warner Bros in the States, stars Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley, as scientists working on hybrid animals. However when they secretly add human DNA into the mix they create something they may be the next step up the evolutionary ladder, or something that could destroy the whole of humanity.
