Jon Favreau is so beloved at Comic-Con that he wouldn’t even need to have a film coming up to fill the auditorium. The fact you get the impression he’s be in the audience if he wasn’t on stage, definitely helps, and ensured he got a great response for his Cowboys & Aliens panel, where he talked about the western/alien invasion flick, and wheeled out Daniel Craig, Olivia Wide, Sam Rockwell and Harrison Ford (on his first Comic-Con visit) to talk about the film. The footage of the panel is split into three vids, which are all embedded below, so take a look.

Priest Comic-Con Trailer – First look at the Paul Bettany vampire movie
There was a bit of a mized reaction to the footage of Priest shown at Comic-Con, perhaps because last year people went wild over what they saw of Paul Bettany and director Scott Stewart’s Legion, only to be disappointed by the film. Anyway, the trailer has now shown up online, so you can take a look and see what your first impressions of the film. Priest is a sort of supernatural The Searchers, with Paul Bettany as a warrior priest in a future that’s been taken over by vampires, who sets out to track down his kidnapped niece and take revenge on the blood-suckers responsible for taking her. Karl Urban, Cam Gigandet and Maggie Q also star. Priest is due out next spring.
Monsters Teaser Trailer – Does it have the makings to be this year’s District 9?
Monsters got much praise when it screened at SXSW and Cannes, not least for being a full-on monster movie with a shooting budget of only $15,000, with all the effects done on home computers (although admittedly by people with plenty of experience). A few days ago some pictures showed up online, and now we’ve got the trailer, times to conicide with Comic-Con, where the film had a panel. Describes by some as having the potential to be this year’s District 9, the film is set six years after a NASA space prove arrives back on Earth containing alien life, which grows, evolves and starts to cause havoc, turning the southern US and north of Mexico in an alien infested zone! The film focusses on two characters and their experience in this terrifying new world. The movie will be in UK cinemas on November 12th.
