To help announce the fact it's going to have a panel at ComicCon this Friday, a first look trailer has been released for The Goon (via MTV), a CGI adaptation of the cult Dark Horse comic, which David Fincher is producing. The Fight Club director will be on hand for the panel, as will Paul Giamatti, who voices on of the main characters in the film. The comic follows the adventures of a muscle-bound brawler who claims to be the primary enforcer for a feared mobster. The stories have a paranormal and comedic edge to them and concern ghosts, zombies, mad scientists and skunk apes. Click below for the short but rather cool teaser.
