Second Fright Night Trailer – And David Tennant gets to speak this time!

7th June 2011 By Tim Isaac

A few weeks ago, the first trailer for the remake of the cult 80s horror-comedy Fright Night arrived, and one thing that was rather noticeable, to a UK audience at least, was that while David Tennant has a major role in the movie, he was barely in the promo at all! However now a second trailer has arrived, which may not have a huge amount of the ex-Time Lord, but he does get to speak (and girls prepare to faint, as he has his shirt off). Here’s the synopsis: ‘Senior Charlie Brewster (Anton Yelchin) finally has it all – he’s running with the popular crowd and dating the hottest girl in high school. In fact, he’s so cool he’s even dissing his best friend Ed (Christopher Mintz-Plasse). But trouble arrives when an intriguing stranger Jerry (Colin Farrell) moves in next door. He seems like a great guy at first, but there’s something not quite right—and everyone, including Charlie’s mom (Toni Collette), doesn’t notice. After witnessing some very unusual activity, Charlie comes to an unmistakable conclusion: Jerry is a vampire preying on his neighborhood. Unable to convince anyone that he’s telling the truth, Charlie has to find a way to get rid of the monster himself in this Craig Gillespie-helmed revamp of the comedy-horror classic.’

The Vow Trailer – Channing Tatum woos an amnesiac Rachel McAdams

6th June 2011 By Tim Isaac

It might not be out until Valentine’s Day 2012, but they’re already trying to get audiences prepared for the potentially mushy romance of The Vow. The film stars Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams as a newlywed couple who get into a car accident, which ends up with the wife in coma. When she wakes up, she has amnesia that stretches back several years, so while she remembers her family, she has no memory of the man who recently became her huband – so he sets out to woo her once again. Although it sounds rather contrived, it’s actually based on the true story of Kim and Krickitt Carpenter, whose car was hit from behind by a fast moving truck in 1993. Click below for the trailer.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 Teaser Trailer – Bella’s gotten herself up the duff!

6th June 2011 By Tim Isaac

After last week’s ridiculously brief first look at Breaking Dawn –  Part 1 footage comes the full teaser trailer for the movie, and OMG, Bella and Edward are getting married. Unsurprisingly Jacob’s not too chuffed about that! But that’s not all, as the trailer even features a snippet of vampire-on-human sex, where you get the feeling Bella should be wearing a crash helmet and protective clothing. And what do you know, by the end of the trailer Bella’s pregnant with a half-vampire baby (actually, in the trailer she looks like she could just be having really bad indigestion, but believe us, she’s got a part-vamp bun in the oven) which will cause all manner of trouble after she gives birth. The film is due out November 18th, with the second part coming a year later.
