New Wrath Of The Titans Trailer – Sam Worthington takes on loads more mythological beasties

23rd February 2012 By Tim Isaac

A couple of year ago Sam Worthington’s Perseus clashed with the Titans, and now he’s going to feel their wrath, when the sequel to the Greek mythological hit arrives in cinemas on March 30th. Now a new trailer has popped up over at Yahoo! and we’ve embedded it here. The trailer certainly is action packed, and we’ll just have to hope the action makes more sense than it did in Clash Of The Titans. This time around Perseus embarks on a treacherous quest into the underworld to rescue Zeus, who has been targeted for capture by his traitorous son, Ares, and his brother, Hades. Enjoy the mythological madness below.

22nd February 2012 By Tim Isaac

With The Artist expected to clean up at the Oscars this weekend, the guys behind Ice Age have decided to give Scrat and the other prehistoric critters a bit of a silent cinema makeover in this new toon/featurette, ‘The SraTIST’. Ice Age returns later this year with Continental Drift, in which Manny, Diego, and Sid embark upon their greatest adventure, after cataclysm sets an entire continent adrift. Separated from the rest of the herd, they use an iceberg as a makeshift ship, which launches them on an epic seafaring quest. Manny and the gang are challenged like never before to become heroes and do the impossible, as they encounter exotic sea creatures, explore a brave new world, and battle ruthless pirates. Meanwhile Scrat’s reunion with his beloved but cursed acorn catapults him to places no prehistoric squirrel has gone before. That’s out July 6th, but for now enjoy the Artist inspired featurette.

Cherry Trailer – James Franco & Dev Patel get involved with porn!

21st February 2012 By Tim Isaac

Cherry looks like a potentially interesting indie flick, with a great cast including Dev Patel, Heather Graham, James Franco, Jonny Weston and Diane Farr, all getting involved in porn! Cherry is about Angelina (Ashley Hinshaw), an 18-year-old girl on the verge of finishing high school. Angelina’s family life is difficult. Her mother (Lili Taylor) is an alcoholic and her step-father is violent and unpredictable. One morning her boyfriend (Jonny Weston) suggests she take naked pictures for money. She balks at first but then does the photo shoot, using the money to run-off with her best friend (Dev Patel) to San Francisco. In San Francisco, while cocktailing in a strip club, Angelina meets Frances (James Franco) a well-off lawyer who offers to introduce her to a different kind of world, a place full of expensive dresses and fancy parties. But that world is not as perfect as it first appears and Frances has problems of his own. At the same time Angelina, using the moniker Cherry, has begun exploring the San Francisco porn industry under the direction of Margaret (Heather Graham) a former performer turned adult film director.
