The new British comedy Tash Force is out on DVD now, and we’ve got five copies to give away in this great comp! The film is a madcap comedy following Tash McDermott, the head of Lancashire Constabulary’s Football Intelligence Unit, as he tries to track down a football hooligan ring leader, and put a stop to “shenanigans” on the football terraces.
Youd think by now that every great classic film would be available on DVD by now but on Monday 23rd April two unreleased films to UK DVD finally come out: Freud directed by the legendary John Huston is a magnificent film noir starring Montgomery Clift, whilst The Execution of Private Slovik an 8 Emmy Award nominated war classic stars the always brilliant Martin Sheen. And weve got a three copies of each of the films to give away to three lucky people.
The complicated sexual mores of the Victorians have always been of interest to slightly prurient tastes, and Hysteria gives a bit of a comic look at the odd contradictions of the time. Here’s the synopsis: ‘Maggie Gyllenhaal and Hugh Dancy star in this cheeky romantic comedy about the invention of the vibrator. Victorian London is brought to life in vivid colour as a young doctor (Dancy) struggles to establish himself while confronting the gutsy daughter of his boss (Gyllenhaal). Rupert Everett and Felicity Jones play supporting roles.’ The vibrator was originally developed to help treat ‘female hysteria’ (believe it or not, back then many doctors manually stimulated ladies to orgasm, which was viewed as a purely medical practice to treat nervous conditions, and not sexual at all). No UK release date is currently set.
If you enjoy comedy with a bit of a naughty edge, then this is the comp for you, as we have five copies of the Brit flick mockumentary, Hardcore: Bare Naked Talent to give away!
If you like gross out comedy, then this is the competition for you. We’ve got two copies of National Lampoon’s Dirty Movie on DVD to give away, and not only that, but you’ll get a limited edition t-shirt too, as shown in the picture!
