Put your hood up and live life on the edge with the gritty crime thriller Top Boy – Season 1, as it exposes the shocking depth of inner-city drug and gang culture. This high-octane drama is released on DVD on 22 July 2013, and we’ve got three copies to give away.

The four-part mini-series takes us into the housing estates of East London and on a journey into the everyday struggle of rival drug gangs operating between tower blocks. 26 year old ‘Dushane’, (Ashley Walters) kick-starts a street gang in the courtyards of the Summerhouse Estate in East London with friend ‘Sully’ (Kane Robinson) where they grew up. With help from top don ‘Bobby Raikes’ (Geoff Bell), and mother to be ‘Heather’ (Kierston Wareing), Dushane aims to become Top Boy by taking over the local underground supply of drugs.

Their lives get intertwined with other residents and an opposing estate gang as they face personal dangerous sacrifices in an attempt to rise to the top. Screen writer, novelist and ex-hackney resident – Ronan Bennett (Public Enemies, The Hamburg Cell) was inspired to write Top Boy after personal experiences close to his home.

Wannabe mad scientist Rintaro ‘Okarin’ Okabe and his friends, ditzy teen Mayuri and otaku hacker Daru, run the Future Gadgets Lab – in reality an apartment above an Akihabara electronics store. But one day while tinkering with the microwave, Okarin and Co. hit the big time – they accidentally invent an honest-to-goodness time machine.

Now Okarin can send text messages to the past: that’s good. Those messages may be messing with the fabric of time: that’s not so good. He’s attracted the attention of a sinister scientific organisation that will stop at nothing to hunt him down: that’s really, really bad. Plunged into a whirlpool of conspiracies, murder and ever-changing realities, it’s down to Okarin to undo all the chaos he has caused – and time may not be on his side!

When we first meet New York hedge-fund magnate Robert Miller (Richard Gere – An Officer And A Gentleman, Pretty Woman) he appears the very portrait of success in American business and family life. With time running out, Miller finds himself battling not just for his reputation but also his life.

Stoker arrives on Blu-ray and DVD on July 1st and on digital platforms on 24th June from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. However if you want try to get a copy for free, we’ve got three Blu-rays to give away in this comp!

After India Stoker’s (Mia Wasikowska – Jane Eyre, Lawless) father dies mysteriously in a car accident, her home life is suddenly upended by the arrival of her Uncle Charlie (Matthew Goode – A Single Man, Watchmen), who she never knew existed. When Charlie moves in with her and her emotionally unstable mother (Nicole Kidman – Australia, The Others) India begins to hope that the void in her life will quickly be filled by her father’s closest blood relative. 

Soon after his strange arrival, however, India comes to suspect that this enigmatic, charming man has ulterior motives. Instead of feeling outrage or horror, she begins to find she cannot help herself from becoming increasingly infatuated with him.

Dark and brooding Stoker is the debut English language film of director Park Chan-Wook, who’s controlled, thoughtful direction helps to create an intense mix of emotional violence and gothic fairytale. Written by Prison Break actor Wentworth Miller the film features mesmerizing performances from the leading cast of Mia Wasikowska, Nicole Kidman and Matthew Goode.
