WIN! Attack On Titan Part 1 On Blu-ray! – Get your hand on the anime sci-fi

20th September 2014 By Tim Isaac

Several hundred years ago, humans were nearly exterminated by giants. Giants are typically several stories tall, seem to have no intelligence, devour human beings and, worst of all, seem to do it for the pleasure rather than as a food source. A small percentage of humanity survived by enclosing themselves in a city protected by extremely high walls, even taller than the biggest of giants. Flash forward to the present and the city has not seen a giant in over 100 years.

Teenage boy Eren and his foster sister Mikasa witness something horrific as the city walls are destroyed by a super giant that appears out of thin air. As the smaller giants flood the city, the two kids watch in horror as their mother is eaten alive. Eren vows that he will murder every single giant and take revenge for all of mankind.

Win Bones – Season 9 On DVD! – Find out what Brennan & Booth have been up to

12th September 2014 By Tim Isaac

Brennan and Booth are back with the release of Bones – Season 9, which is out on Blu-ray and DVD on 15th September from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. We’ve teamed up with the two give away two copies in this comp.

Dr Brennan “Bones” Temperance (Emily Deschanel) is a highly skilled forensic anthropologist who works at the Jeffersonian Institute in Washington D.C., and writes novels on the side. While most people can’t handle Brennan’s intelligence, her drive for the truth or the way she flings herself headlong into every investigation, Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) is an exception. A member of the FBI’s Homicide Investigations Unit he mistrusts science and scientists but even he cannot deny that the combination of his people-smarts and Brennan’s scientific acumen makes them a formidable duo.

After tech genius and serial killer Christopher Pelant (Andrew Leeds) once again toyed with the Jeffersonian team in season eight’s conclusion, season nine begins in rocky territory. Pelant forced Booth to call off his engagement to Brennan by threatening the lives of innocent people if he went through with the marriage or even told her why he was turning her down. Following this showdown Brennan begins the new season questioning the viability of her relationship with Booth. How can Booth win back her trust without being able to reveal the reason for turning down her marriage proposal? Will Pelant manage to thwart the marriage that we’ve all been waiting for? “Bones” finds herself in a difficult situation juggling the consistent presented murder cases as well as dealing with not knowing the real reason Booth denied her.

If you’d like to try and win one of the two copies of Bones – Season 9 on DVD that we’ve got to give away, sign in to the site below (or click here to register) and answer the multiple choice question (see below for more details on how to enter).
