Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets is one of the big unknowns of the summer. Director Luc Besson must believe in it, as it’s know the most expensive French movie ever made, with an estimated budget of over $200 million.
Luc Besson took us into a rather unique sci-fi world with The Fifth Element, which got a very mixed reaction on its cinema release, but has since grown more than a cult reputation. Now the director is going back to hard sci-fi with Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, which has just released its first proper trailer.
The MTV Movie Awards offered the chance to get our first peak at a couple of highly anticipated new movie, most notably Kong: Skull Island and Luce Besson’s Valerian & The City Of A Thousand Planets.
