New Cars 3 Trailer – Lightning McQueen isn’t the car he once was

10th June 2017 By Tim Isaac

Paul Newman died back in 2008, but he recorded enough unused dialogue for Cars that his voice won’t just feature in Cars 3, he’s also around for this rather eerie trailer. It’s a promo that suggests this film will go back to the rather nostalgic feel of the first movie, rather than the rather bizarrer spy antics of its sequel.

Here’s the synopsis: ‘Blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast racers, the legendary Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson) is suddenly pushed out of the sport he loves. To get back in the game, he will need the help of an eager young race technician, Cruz Ramirez, with her own plan to win, plus inspiration from the late Fabulous Hudson Hornet and a few unexpected turns. Proving that #95 isn’t through yet will test the heart of a champion on Piston Cup Racing’s biggest stage!’

The movie will be in UK cinemas on July 14th, Take a look at the new trailer below. [Read more…]

New Cars 3 Trailer – Has age caught up to Lightning McQueen?

10th May 2017 By Tim Isaac

It looks like things are slightly coming full circle with Cars 3. In the first movie, young hotshot Lightning McQueen teamed up with an aging auto the world has given up on, Doc Hudson, to become a true champion (and a nicer car). Now it’s Lightning who’s getting older, with newer, more powerful cars lining up to race past him.

New Cars 3 Trailer – Lightning McQueen isn’t the young hotshot anymore

26th April 2017 By Tim Isaac

While we’ve had a couple of promos for Disney/Pixar’s Cars 3, they haven’t actually shown us a huge amount of the movie, other than Lightning McQueen have an almighty crash. However a new trailer gives us a far better taste of the upcoming film.

New Cars 3 Sneak Peek – Lightning McQueen revs up for another Pixar adventure

10th January 2017 By Tim Isaac

The first teaser for Cars 3, which arrived back in November, didn’t show us much about the movie, other than the fact Lightning McQueen was going to be having some major trouble on the track. Now a new sneak peek has arrived which starts with the same footage before showing us a little more of the movie.

Proving that #95 isn’t through yet will test the heart of a champion on Piston Cup Racing’s biggest stage!

‘Directed by Brian Fee (storyboard artist “Cars,” “Cars 2“) and produced by Kevin Reher (“A Bug’s Life,” “La Luna” short), “Cars 3” cruises into cinemas on 14th July, 2017.’ [Read more…]

Cars 3 Teaser Trailer – Lightning McQueen revs up for another Pixar adventure

21st November 2016 By Tim Isaac

cars-3-teaser-slideMany wondered why of all the Pixar movies, they decided to make a sequel to Cars. After that follow-up wasn’t as big a success as most of the animation studios’s film, it perplexed even more people that they announced they were making another Cars movie. There are two good reasons though – first, the franchise is dear to the heart of Pixar’s head honcho, John Lasseter, and secondly and perhaps more importantly, in merchandising terms it’s one of the biggest properties Disney has ever owned, making continuing it very lucrative proposition irrespective of the actual box office receipts.

Now the first teaser for Cars 3 has arrived.
