Over the years a Deadpool movie was in the works many fans were worried that the notoriously sarcastic, rude and violent character would get toned down and made family friendly, much as he was in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
However the first trailer is very keen to show while Deadpool may have come from the X-Men universe, this is going to be an R-rated movie with plenty of blood, bad language and humour – complete with the character’s trademark breaking of the fourth wall.
Here’s the synopsis: ‘Based upon Marvel Comics most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life. Starring Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Gina Carano, T.J. Miller and Ed Skrein’.
The movie’s out February 2016.
