There’s been a lot of umming and ahing about Prometheus 2. The original plan had been to get it going as soon as possible after the first film, but it’s taken a while to get things moving, apparently due to differences over where the story should go.
However, now TheWrap reports that Transcendence screenwriter Jack Paglen is in negotiations to pen Prometheus 2.
it had initially been believed Damon Lindelof would be back to write part two, but it was revealed that due to his many commitments, he had stepped then. Then in February, actress Noomi Rapace revealed that the sequel was moving forward with an unidentified scribe.
Paglen is rumored to have been involved for a number of weeks, and now director Ridley Scott has signed off on his take. Unsurprisingly, no story details have been revealed at this time, but it’s believed Prometheus stars Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender will both return.
It’s not known at this time when it will shoot.
