Mysterious Skin, Kaboom and The Doom Generation director Gregg Araki is a fascinating filmmaker, even if sometimes he’s had difficulty reigning in his tedency towards the random and bizarre. He’s currently putting together a new film called White Bird, which already has The Descendants’ Shailene Woodley and Eva Green set to star.
Now they’ve got some male company, as Red Riding Hood’s Shiloh Fernandez has signed up to appear in the movie, according to Deadline. The movie is about a young woman who loses control of her life when her mother disappears. Woodley will be playing the main part, but it’s not clear how Fernandez will play into the story.
Fernandez will next be seen in the remake of The Evil Dead. It isn’t clear when White Bird might shoot.
