As he proved in lost Harold Perrineau is one of the best actors around, which ensures he’s rarely short of work, having spent much of the last year appearing in episodes of TV series such as Sons of Anarchy, Georgia and The Wedding Band, as well as popping up in films like Seeking Justice, Transit, Sunset Stories and Kathryn Bigelow’s upcoming Zero Dark Thirty.
Now Variety reports he’s got a new movie role, as he has joined Arnold Schwarzenegger in Ten, David Ayer’s new take on Agatha Christie’s classic Ten Little Indians. Skip Woods’ (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, A Good Day to Die Hard) script massively updates the tale, following an elite DEA task force that deals with the world’s deadliest drug cartels. Specialising in complex mobile operations, the team executes a tactical raid on a cartel safe house. What looks to be a typical raid turns out to be an elaborate theft operation, pre-planned by the DEA squad. After hiding millions in stolen cash, the team believes their secret is safe – until someone begins assassinating them one by one.
The impressive ensemble cast already includes Schwarzenegger, Sam Worthington, Mireille Enos and Olivia Williams. The movie should start shooting later this year.
