Sky Movies has good news for Bond fans, as on October 5th, they’re launching Sky Movies 007 HD, an entire channel dedicated to the full James Bond film catalogue. For the first time in history all 22 Bond films, as well as two non-EON titles, 1967’s Casino Royale and Never Say Never Again, will be available to enjoy in one place and in HD.
Bond fans will have also the films at their fingertips via Sky Movies TV on-demand service Sky Anytime+, with all of the films also available on demand and on the move via Sky Go. In addition, customers who subscribe to Sky Movies via NOW TV, the brand new internet TV service from Sky, will also be able to enjoy entire the Bond catalogue.
The launch comes just a couple of weeks before the 23rf film in the franchise, Skyfall, hits UK cinemas on October 26th. The movie will also be available to rent through Sky Store and on Sky Movies sometime in 2013. The launch date also coincides with the 50th anniversary of the franchise, a the first film, Dr No, was released on October 5th, 1962.
