It’s Devon day in the world of trailers. We just posted the trailer for We Bought A Zoo, based on the true story of the rehabilitation of a Devonshire zoo, and now we’ve got a promo for a film starring Exeter born Matthew Goode, of Watchmen and Brideshead Revisited fame. However, if you watch the trailer, it’s a bit difficult to tell what the movie is all about. It looks pretty stylish and Goode’s character seems slightly on the edge, but other than that it’s a bit of a mystery. Here’s the synopsis: ‘Burning Man is the reckless, sexy, funny, moving and ultimately life-affirming story of Tom, a British chef in a Bondi restaurant, who seems to have decided there are no longer any rules he needs to obey. Whatever Tom is up to, his actions seem to be tolerated by those around him. As Tom descends into darkness, fragments of a different story begin to emerge. All the women in his world are trying in their own, very different ways to help put him back together.’ Click below to watch a trailer that could be for that synopsis or just about any other plot you can think of. No UK release is currently set.
