It’s taking a while to come together, but Park Chan-Wook’s English-language debut, Stoker, is getting ever more intriguing (and not just because it’s written by Prison Break star Wentworth Miller – under the pen name Ted Foulkes – who you wouldn’t have expected to have a particularly literary bent).
THR reports that Dermot Mulroney has now joined the cast of Stoker. The revolves revolves around a young woman, played by Mia Wasikowska, who loses her father and then must content with her mysterious uncle (Matthew Goode). Dermot Mulroney will be playing the dead father. Nicole Kidman has also previously signed up to play the grieving mother.
Stoker begins filming later this month in Nashville, Tennessee.
