Andrew Niccol (The Truman Show, Gattaca) certainly has a knack for coming up with interesting premises, and that’s definitely true of In Time. We got two trailers for the movie during Comic-Con, and now a third has arrived, which is definitely the best of the lot. Here’s the synopsis, ‘In the not-too-distant future the aging gene has been switched off. To avoid overpopulation, time has become the currency and the way people pay for luxuries and necessities. The rich can live forever, while the rest try to negotiate for their immortality. A poor young man comes into a fortune of time, though too late to help his mother from dying. He ends up on the run from a corrupt police force known as ‘time keepers’. With nobody aging, it certainly ensures the cast is filled with pretty young people, with Justin Timberlake, Cillian Murphy, Amanda Seyfried, Vincent Kartheiser, Olivia Wilde, Johnny Galecki, Alex Pettyfer, and Matthew Bomer all starring. It should hit cinemas this October.
