The remake of the 80s comedy-horror Fright Night is coming to cinemas on September 2nd, and now some rather new character posters have arrived, which you can see above and below. Rather nicely, unlike the trailer, where he gets short shrift, David Tennant gets his very own banner, look pretty intense and ready to battle vampires.
In Fright Night, high school senior Charley Brewster (Anton Yelchin) finally has it all – hes running with the popular crowd and dating the hottest girl in high school. In fact, hes so cool hes even dissing his best friend Ed (Christopher Mintz-Plasse). But trouble arrives when an intriguing stranger Jerry (ColinFarrell) moves in next door. He seems like a great guy at first, but theres something not quite right – yet no one, including Charleys mom (Toni Collette), seems to notice! After witnessing some very unusual activity, Charley comes to an unmistakable conclusion: Jerry is a vampire preying on his neighborhood. Unable to convince anyone that hes telling the truth, Charley has to find a way to get rid of the monster himself – and the only way to do that (he thinks at least) is to recruit magician Peter Vincent, (David Tennant), a man who claims on stage to be a vampire hunter.
