Not long ago, Bradley Cooper signed up for a new thriller The Words, and since then the cast has grown significantly, with the likes of Jeremy Irons, Zoe Saldana and Dennis Quaid joining, and Variety now reporting that Olivia Wilde, Ben Barnes, J.K. Simmons and John Hannah have all signed up too.
The film, which is the directorial debut of Tron: Legacy screenwriters Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal, follows a writer who finds out there’s a price he must pay after stealing another author’s work (although as yet, there’s been no info on what that price might be, although presumably it’s something rather dramatic). Cooper will play the writer, Jeremy Irons is the person whose work was stolen and Dennis Quaid is yet another author. Unfortunately it isn’t known yet who all the others will play.
Klugman and Sternthal’s script for the movie was previously featured on The Black List, an industry list of the best unproduced screenplays in Hollywood, and now thanks to Tron: Legacy, they’ll get to direct it themselves. It isn’t certain when the movie will start shooting, but it’s not likely to be until later this year.
