It’s been a long, difficult wait since the release of Spy Kids 3D in 2003. Indeed, at times I’m sure we all felt dark moments of despair when we lost hope that another Spy Kids flick would ever be made. But now it’s coming and the trailer is here! So forget about Green Lantern and X-Men, and click below to get your first taste of the real motion picture event of 2011 – Spy Kids: All The Time In World. A bit of a reboot, the undoubted masterpiece stars revered actress Jessica Alba as Marissa, a woman trying to deal with a new baby and two stepkids who simply don’t want her around. She’s also a retired secret agent, and is called back into action when the Timekeeper (Jeremy Piven) threatens to take over the planet. Suddenly the stepkids don’t think their new mom’s so rubbish anymore when they’re caught up in the battle. Spy Kids legends Dary Sabara, Alexa Vega and Antonio Banderas will also be putting in an appearance. The film is due out August 19th (which I’m sure will be made a national holiday in celebration).
