Ever since they went into Da Bungalow, I’m sure that like me you’ve been wondering when Dick & Dom would take over the world of film. It’s been a long time coming, but it’s finally happening, as they’re going to be in Horrid Henry: The Movie, and they’ve even got a new character poster to prove it. Yep, it’s proof that Dick & Dom are hitting the big screen, in 3D no less – and like me, I’m sure you feel this is what 100-odd year of cinema have been leading up to. Noel Fielding, Kimberley Walsh, Jo Brand and Richard E. Grant are also amongst the cast, along with Anjelica Huston, who must have been wondering who on Earth all these Brits are.
You can see a new quad poster above, and below are nine new character banners, introducing us to the hyper-coloured world of Henry and his oddly named compatriots. We’ve we’ve embedded the teaser trailer right at bottom, in case you haven’t seen it. The first ever British kids movie to be filmed in 3D, Horrid Henry: The Movie sees the title character, Lord High Majesty of the Purple Hand Gang, waging his ever constant battle against the tyranny of adults, only this time it seems the adults really are out to get him!
Horrid Henry: The Movie in 3D, directed by Nick Moore (Wild Child), is released in cinemas on 29th July 2011.
