There’s a lot of people in Hollywood who think Anna Faris should be a bigger star than she is, and so are preapred to keep taking a punt on her, even though her movies often fail to attract a large audience. The latest to get inb bed with Faris is Paramount, as the actress has just sold a comedy pitch to the studio, according to THR.
The only plot details are that it revolves around Faris and a new roommate, who turns out to be a stalker from hell. That’s pretty generic, but a solid enough basis for a movie if the script is good. The idea apparently came after Faris’ reps heard her recount a funny story from her own life, which has now been spun into a pitch for an entire movie.
Deanna Kizis is on scripting duties, but there’s no info on when it might shoot. Perhaps this will be the film to finally give Faris a bona fide solo hit.
