Daniel Radcliffe in not-playing-Harry-Potter shocker! Yep, now that shooting has wrapped on Deathly Hallows, Radclfiffe is moving onto pastures new, and trying to find a sustained career away from Hogwarts. One of his first moves is to star in Hammer Film’s adaptation of Susan Hill’s The Woman In Black, with Radcliffe as a young lawyer who goes oop north to settle the estate of Alice Drablow, but comes up against ghostly goings on and numerous tragic secrets, as well as the titular woman in black. The first pic of Radcliffe looking rather pale on the set has popped up over at the Telegraph, and you can see it above. The Jame Watkins (Eden Lake) directed film will hit cinemas next year.
And while we’re on the subject of young people in period garb, a new shot of Mia Wasikowska as the title character in Jane Eyre has emerged over at the movie’s Facebook page. Wasikokska’s take on the governess who falls for her employer Rochester (Michael Fassbender) will be in cinemas next spring, but take a look below for the new pic.
