20th Century Fox got a lot of grief for the first poster for Unstoppable, which was released a few weeks ago, due to the fact it was just about the most generic promo image ever released, and gave you absolutely no idea about the film. Well now the studio has sent us the UK poster, which is a lot better, and suggests it will indeed have something to do with trains. We’ve also got the first three stills from the movie, which admittedly don’t tell us much, but are worth a look. You can see them above and below.
Inspired by actual events, Unstoppable, from director Tony Scott, is action rooted in the reality of ordinary people placed in extraordinary circumstances. A veteran train engineer (Denzel Washington) and a young conductor (Chris Pine) race the clock to stop an unmanned runaway train effectively a missile the size of a skyscraper — and prevent disaster in a heavily populated area. The film is currently due in UK cinemas on November 26th, and you can click here for the trailer.
