I think it’s fair to say that we’re going to hear a lot more about Teresa Palmer in the future. She’s already been seen in supporting roles in Bedtime Stories and The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, and is due to become much more famous with the upcoming I Am Number Four and Mad Max: Fury Road.
As a result, by the time those are in cinemas, she should be a household name, which bodes well for Say Nothing, the new horror-thriller she’s signed up for, alongside fellow Aussie Joel Edgerton (best known as Owen Lars in the Star Wars prequels). Melbourne’s Sunday-Herald Sun has the news (via Moviehole), saying the film will be about a husband and wife, along with her sister and sister’s boyfriend, who set out on an ill-fated holiday in south-east Asia. Only three of the four return home, with dark secrets emerging when the survivors are pressed for details about exactly what happened.
Edgerton will also produce, through his and and his brother Nash’s Blue Tongue Films. Nash is, incidentally, Palmer’s boyfriend, so it’s certainly a rather incestuous production. The movie will be directed by Kieran Darcy-Smith.
