Tamara Drewe looks like it could be a lot of fun, even though it appears to be the sort of very British movie you’d never have expected to be based on a graphic novel. It’s essentially a modern day update of Thomas Hardy’s Far From The Madding Crowd, in which sexy flirt Drewe (Gemma Arterton) returns to her small country village after completely transforming herself through plastic surgery and a new look. She stirs up dark passions amongst the locals, which leads to tragedy. The movie hits UK cinemas on September 10th, but now a new trailer has shown up online, so click below to take a look.
