There have been quite a few people who’ve commented that Hollywood seems to like movies with suggestive titles at the moments, such a four different current projects that are or have been known as Friends With Benefits, as well as buying several scripts with the f**k in the title.
Well, now they’re going for a MILF, although the deliberately suggestive title hides the fact that here is stands for, Mother I’d Like To Fight, rather than anything carnal people might like to do with a mother. According to the LA Times, it’s ‘a revenge story about a woman who, recently released from prison, returns to the street to take care of some unfinished business’. And to be honest, that’s about as generic a premise as it’s possible to get.
Carla Gugino, star of Spy Kids, Sin City, Watchmen and Entourage, is in talks for the lead role, continuing her run of tough girl parts. MILF will be directed by P2’s Franck Khalfoun, with Alexandre Aja likely to produce.
