Although there was more fuss made about the likes of Thor and Captain America at this year’s Comic-Con, the movie that got the biggest boost was probably Zach Snyder’s (300, Watchmen) Sucker Punch. Attendees were said to be gob-smacked by the footage they saw, while the rest us has had our interest piqued with an all-action trailer, character banners and a poster for the film. Well, it turns out that poster was only one chunk of a much larger banner, that really immerses you in the film’s strange but intriguing, futuristic warfare world. You can see that pic above, and click on it for a larger version.
Described as ‘Alice In Wonderland’ with guns, Sucker Punch sees Emily Browning’s Baby Doll confined to a mental institution, and from there retreating into an alternate fantasy universe, where all those around her become part of her delusion, with Babydoll looking for a handful of objects that will allow her to escape. The film hits cinemas next March.
