Last month we reported that Paul Rudd was set to play the lead in the indie comedy My Idiot Brother, with Elizabeth Banks, Zooey Deschanel and Emily Mortimer as his sisters. Well now the film has added a few more cast members to the roster.
Vartiety reports that Hugh Dancy, Dame Shirley Knight, Katherine Hahn and Janet Montgomery have all signed up for the film, which is about an idealist (Rudd) dealing with an overbearing mother, who crashes into the homes of his three sisters. While he turns their lives upside-down, he also brings them truth and happiness.
Shirley Knight will play the troublesome mother, while Crossing Jordan’s Kathryn Hahn will be Rudd’s ex. Dancy is set to appear as a friend of one of the sisters, while Montgomery is an aristocratic Brit. The film is currently shootng in New York.
