With Thor featuring heavily at Comic-Con at the end of the week, Marvel has been preparing by getting the likes of Entertainment Weekly and the LA Times to prominently feature the movie, and they’ve been giving them new images to help them do so. It’s the LA Times that’s got a new one this time, which was included in the print edition and then scanned online.
It reveals the Hall Of Asgard in all its golden glory. It all looks rather like the set of a Wagnerian opera, but then I suppose that’s relatively apt. In case you want to know who the people are, that’s Anthony Hopkins’ Odin in the centre on the throne, while Chris Hemsworth’s Thor kneels in the centre and to either side stand Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Fandral the Dashing (Josh Dallas), Hogun the Grim (Tadanobu Asano) and Frigga (Rene Russo).
Thor, directed by Kenneth Branagh, hits cinemas on May 6th, 2011.
