Here’s the latest casting news coming out of Hollywood…
Jeremy Irons has joined the cast on Margin Call, which is currently shooting in New York. He’ll star alongside Zachary Quinto (who also produced), Demi Moore, Kevin Spacey, Carla Gugino, Stanley Tucci, Simon Baker and Paul Bettany. The film is set over a 24-hour period and follows eight people at a prominent investment bank as they deal with the storm that accomanied the early stages of the financial crisis. Haunting In Connecticut star Virginia Madsen has signed on to appear in Catherine Hardwicke’s fariytale reimagining, Red Riding Hood. The film is set in a medieval village that’s being terrorised by a werewolf, with Amanda Seyfried as a girl torn between the woodcutter she loves and the man her family want her to marry. Madsen will play Seyfried’s mother. The movie begins shooting soon and should be in cinemas next spring. (Source: Variety)
Thomas Lennon (I Love You, Man) has nabbed a couple of roles, including a part in A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas, in which he’ll play a suburban neighbour of Harold’s who gets involved in the pair’s latest adventure. He’s also signed on for the Anna Faris comedy What’s Your Number, where the actress plays a woman going through her old conquests to see if she missed out on ‘the one’.
