Empire has premiered the first UK one-sheet for Let Me In, the remake of the acclaimed Let The Right One In, which Cloverfield’s Matt Reeves has directed. Indeed you may have noticed all the promo material so far, including the recently released teaser trailer, has come from the UK, which is partly because it’s technically a British movie, produced by Hammer Films, but also because the film is rather in limbo in the US. The movie’s American distributor, Overture, is currently in virtual shutdown, with its bosses gone and it’s owner struggling to find a buyer. While the company is still likely to release Let Me In, at the moment its in no position to give it much backing, meaning its up to the UK to fill the void.
The movie, about a shy teen who befriends his new next door neighbour, but discovers she’s a blood-sucking vampire, opens on October 29th, but take a look below for the new posters, which don’t show us much but are intriguing nevertheless.
