Warner Bros sure aren’t shy about presenting the final two Harry Potter movies as just about the most important thing that’s happened since the end of World War II, but with the film series now the highest grossing movie franchise ever, having made billions at the box office and on DVD, you can understand why they might feel confident there are a lot of people out there waiting to see what happens in the end. This first proper trailer (not counting a couple of sneak teasers we’ve had previously), is certainly action-packed, and it’s good to see plenty of Voldemort, who’s spent six films being the main villain, even though he’s hardly had any screen time – but that will change with Deathly Hallows. Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part I hits cinemas in November, while Part II arrives July 2011, and both will be in 3D, having been converted in post-production.
