Although a few dodgy set photos and blurry unofficial snaps have popped up on the internet, it’s only now that we’re getting our first official shot of Jason Momoa as the new Conan the Barbarian in Marcus Nispel’s (Pathfinder, Friday The 13th) reboot of the classic character.
Momoa, best known from Stargate: Atlantis, is starring alongside Ron Perlman, Rose McGowan, Stephen Lang and Rachel Nichols in the movie, which will hit cinemas next year. In it, Conan sets off on a quest to avenge the murder of his father and the destruction of his village.
The promo image arrived on the website of Nu Boyona Film Studios in Bulgaria, where most of the movie was shot, but you can take a look at it below.
