Even though the summer movie season is still revving up, the studios are already thinking about their Christmas releases, and as a result the first poster for Gulliver’s Travels has arrived, featuring Jack Black tied to the floor by miniature people (although unfortunately without a gag over his mouth, which is surely the first thing you’d do if you captured Jack Black).
The modern update of the classic film sees travel writer Lemuel Gulliver heading to Barbados but ending up in Lilliput instead (it doesn’t look llike he’ll get to any of the other places Gulliver went to in the original book). And apparently the tiny Lilliputians must have descended from British stock, as they’re played by the likes of Emily Blunt, Billy Connolly, Catherine Tate and James Corden. Jason Segel and Romany Malco also star, and the film is due out at Christmas. Take a look below for the new poster, or head over to IMPA for a larger version.
