Kurt Russell has had a pretty incredible career. Starting as a child star, he’s never really been right at the top of the a-list, but he’s been solidly working and plugging away at the fame game since 1957 (when he was only 6-years-old!), and his status has rarely wavered.
Now he’s got a new film in the works, which has been announced so that the producers can shop it to potential buyers are Cannes. THR reports that Russell is attached to The Undying, by Book Of Eli screenwriter Gary Whitta (although let’s hope the script isn’t as ridiculously portentous as that film).
The supernatural neo-noir thriller will see Russell as a private eye called Virgil Lone, who gets pulled into a surreal underworld when he is hired by the mysterious Delia.
No director has yet been announced for the film, although it’s hoped they can start filming this autumn.
