Things seems to be moving ahead pretty quickly with the comedy Horrible Bosses. As we reported yesterday, the project has been in the works for years, with the likes of Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn, Ashton Kutcher Matthew McCounaghey and Dax Shepherd attached at various times, but it’s only since The Hangover that any real momentum has built up, and now they’re quickly assembling an impressive cast to bring it to the silver screen.
Yesterday it was revealed that Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Colin Farrell were all in talks for roles in the film, in which three people decide that the only way to sort out their problems with their horrible bosses is to go a bit Strangers On A Train and kill one another’s employers. Bateman and Day will be employees and Aniston and Farell will be unpleasant employers, and now come news, via THR, that Jamie Foxx has also joined the mix.
However he won’t be playing boss or murderous underling, and will instead be a scam artist called Motherfucker Jones (presumably he wasn’t baptised with that name), who offers advise to the wannabe killers on how to go about offing their bosses.
While it’s already a pretty interesting cast, there’s still roles for another boss and another harrassed potential murderer to be filled. However rumours suggest director Seth Gordon already has some big names in line for these, and that they’ll be announced in the next couple of weeks, once negotiations are further down the line,
