Leicester Square has some major competition now when it comes to British movie premieres, as Vue has opened its opulent new cinema at Westfields, which looks like it may become the venue of choice for many glitzy red carpet affairs. It was meant to be the location of the Iron Man 2 World Premiere, but that got switched to LA because of the Icelandic volcano. However yesterday (May 9th, 2010) Westfields got its moment in the spotlight thanks to the world premiere of Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time.
Stars including Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton graced the red carpet, while the crowds also got to watch a parkour demonstration to show off the jumpy about style of the film’s action sequences. Take a look above and below for some images from the premiere.
