Hollywood loves animals. If they’re not making movies about dogs, they’re making them about horses. The film Secretariat – which things trailer lumps firmly into the inspirational drama bracket – is about Penny Chenery, an inexperienced newcomer to horseracing who became the first lady of the sport thanks to her horse, Secretariat, who won the Triple Crown in 1973. John Malkovich co-stars as the horse’s trainer. The animal is a bit of a legend in America, and apparently there’s enough drama to make a whole movie about the four-legged wonder. The Disney flick will be released this autumn, just in time for the Oscars. And if you like the trailer, click here for the first images from the film, which we posted a couple of days ago.
