A slew of very cool new posters have emerged in the past couple of days for some much-anticipated upcoming films. Yesterday we posted new posters for The A-Team and Toy Story 3, and today we’ve got ones for the Ryan Reynolds flick Buried, the DC Comics adaptation Jonah Hex and the Russell Brand/Jonah Hill movie Get Him To The Greek. Take a look at them below.
This rather clever and very cool poster for Buried plays up the claustrophobic nature of the movie, which sees Ryan Reynolds spending most of the film buried alive in a coffin and desperately trying to find his way out. The UK release is currently set for October 8th. (Poster via First Showing)
Despite reports of problems with the movie that resulted in massive reshoots, Warner is still keen to big up the DC Comics adaptation, Jonah Hex. However the reshoots mean promoting it has been awkward, although we have been promised the first trailer later this week. The new poster is definitely very cool, showing off Brolin and Megan Fox, who star in the tale of a scarred bounty hunter who must stop hell on earth being unleashed. Although the poster hides Hex’s scars, you can see Brolin in full make-up here. The film will be released in the US on June 18th, and should arrive here shortly afterwards. (Poster via Yahoo Movies)
A far cooler poster for Get Him To The Greek than any we’ve had before, this European poster really plays up the wild rocker ways of Aldous Snow (Russell Brand), which Jonah Hill having to get the musician to his LA concert, which proves far more difficult than he’s imagined. The film hits UK cinemas on June 25th. (Poster via Kinogallery)
