New Pics: Predators – Plus first looks at Faster, Secretariat and Jane Eyre

27th April 2010 By Tim Isaac

It seems to be the day for new pics from much anticipated upcoming movies. First up MTV Movies has debuted a new shot from Predators (above), featuring Adrien Brody, Alice Braga and Wolton Goggins tramping across an alien world looking slightly perturbed. The film sees a bunch of the most deadly humans kidnapped by the dreadlocked aliens and dumped on an alien world to be hunted as sport. It hits UK cinemas on August 13th.

/Film has also tipped us off to the first images to arrive from three other films – Faster, Secretariat and Jane Eyre – so take a look at those below.

Faster, directed by Geroge Tillmans Jr., stars Dwayne Johnson as a parolee out to avenge his brother’s death, while being pursued by both cops and killers. The film should arrive in cinemas at the end of the year. (Image courtesy of FilmTotaal)

A new adaptation of Charlotte Bronte’s Jane Eyre is currently shooting with Alice in Wonderland’s Mia Wasikowska in the title role, as a governess who softens the heart of her employer but discovers he has a dark secret. Cary Fukunaga is directing, and the movie is due out next year. (Image courtesy of Times Online)

Secretariat sees Diane Lane taking on the role of Penny Chenery, an inexperienced newcomer to horseracing who became the first lady of the sport thanks to her horse, Secretariat, who won the Triple Crown in 1973. John Malkovich co-stars as the horse’s trainer. The film should be out this autumn, just in time to be in contention for the Oscars. (Images courtesy of Stitch Kingdom)
