According to Bloody Disgusting, The Station Agent and Prince Caspian star, Peter Dinklage, is in talks to star in Joe Lynch’s comedy-horror-adventure, The Knights Of Badassdom. The film is about a group of live action role playing gamers, who dress up as knights and elves and re-enact dungeons and dragons types scenarios as part of the Central New Jersey Knights of Badassdom Adventure Society.
However, when one of the party accidentally casts a real spell from a book he bought on eBay, they release a demon with a taste for human souls, and the role-playing becomes all too real.
There’s no news on what role Dinklage may play, although it’s likely to be some sort of fantasy character, as that’s pretty much all that little people are allowed to do in Hollywood (although Dinklage has been one of the few to expand into various other types of roles).
Director Joe Lynch also made Wrong Turn 2, which was actually far better than you’d expect for a straight to DVD sequel, so hopefully he’ll do well with this one.
