I suppose it was inevitable, but it’s not exactly desperately original for the first posters for a Robin Hood movie to feature the main character firing a bow and arrow. However between this and the US and UK trailers, we’re starting to get a good feel for the tone of the upcoming film, which seems to be Russell Crowe and Ridley Scott trying to recapture the feel of Gladiator.
Both the US one-sheet and UK quad are posted below, so take a look. Incidentally the posters include the address of the websites, and while www.robinhoodthemovie.com is now live (although with only a trailer, synopsis and a few images on there at the moment), www.robinhoodthemovie.co.uk is still password protected, but will presumably be going online very soon. Robin Hood will be in UK cinemas on May 14th.
