Following the success of The Dark Knight, Christopher Nolan is one of the few directors around who can get people excited about their new movie, while hardly telling anyone anything about it. Officially all we know about Inception is some brief teaser trailer footage and that it takes pace ‘inside the architecture of the mind’. However it’s believed that the film will revolve around a technology that allows others to literally wander round in other people’s heads, retrieving and planting information, and a corporate CEO getting involved in a blackmail scandal linked to info that been hidden in someone’s mind.
Now the first poster for the movie has arrived, via the film’s website, www.yourmindisthesceneofthecrime.com. It gives the movie a bit of a film noir vibe, and follows the very popular pattern of having the first poster for a film featuring someone with their back turned to the camera, which isn’t exactly very original. It is kind of intriguing, but let’s just hope we know more about the film before it arrives in cinemas on July 16th, 2010, although even if we don’t, following success of The Dark Knight, it’ll probably be a hit anyway.
