Julien Temple sure loves his documentary about rock ‘n’ roll. Following looks at the likes of the Sex Pistols and Joe Strummer, he returns with Oil City Confidential, about the rise and fall of Dr Feelgood, four men in cheap suits who crashed out of Canvey Island in the early ’70’s and conquered the music world, including no. 1 charts success in the US. However they imploded just as punk was born. With input from the band, as well as members of The Clash, Blondie and The Sex Pistols, it looks like it could be another great music doc from Temple.
