It’s taking a long time for The Yellow Handkerchief to make it into cinemas. The film premiered at last year’s Sundance Film Festival and despite a cast including William Hurt, Maria Bello and Twilight’s Kristen Stewart, it’s only now gearing up for a US release, with no sign of when it’s coming to the UK. The Yellow Handkerchief remake of a 1977 Japanese movie, although the new film transplants the action from Asia to the American South, with three strangers’ lives getting transformed during a Louisiana road trip.
