Matthew Vaughn’s new movie, Kick-Ass, about teen comic book geek Dave Lizewski, who decides to become a superhero despite having no training or powers, is out next April, and the movie continues to try and seep into people’s consciousness with IGN debuting four new character posters for the film.
The film is much-anticipated in geek circles, and while these posters definitely seem more designed to further excite those who are already aware of the film (after all, you can’t even see their faces or know anything about who they are), there’s still plenty of time to do some marketing that doesn’t push the film in such a niche geek direction. Take a look at the rather cool new posters below, and click on them to see larger versions at IGN.
In case you’re wondering who is playing these faceless characters, Aaron John plays Dave Lizewski, Chloe Moretz is Mindy McReady, Nicolas Cage plays Damon McReady and Christopher Mintz-Plasse is Chris D’Amico.
